Okay, I shouldn't have done that-- now I want to go on a cruise again!!!

(Photo: Getty Images) I was able to watch American Idol last night in roughly 25 minutes, thanks to DVR, I didn't have to sit through the stupid commercials and the boring, pointless interviews. But, I did have to sit through some painful performances that had me wondering how these people got this far. I am not a music producer and could have told them "wrong song choice." The chick that sang "Little Less Conversation" by Elvis wearing that 80's spandex get-up had me squirming in my chair--make her stop!!! And, please put Tatiana on the first plane back to Puerto Rico. At least the rule change this year allowing only the top 3 vote getters to advance makes this season somewhat bearable. We won't be subjected to less than mediocre performances week after week after week. At least I hope not.

Ugh... if last night was any indication of the direction of this show, "ugh" is all I can say! Most of the girls looked like they just returned from a 1980's Mary Kay convention. What gives with all the make-up?? And, some of them appear to have already had plastic surgery or botox.

Yes, The Bachelor starts back up tonight as Jason searches for love after being rejected by Deanna. Lucky for him, cause she turned out to be a real loser. If you haven't heard yet, he does get engaged at the end of the season (or eight weeks of courtship- yikes!) After looking at the brief bios and photos, my front runner is Jillian. She's from Vancouver, B.C. so moving to Seattle would be a piece of cake. There are 4 single moms in this one. Since Jason is a single dad already, I would be a little s
urprised if he went that route, but we will just have to wait and see, won't we? I'll post an update tomorrow and see if Jillian is still in the running.

After much thought and deliberation, I finally made the decision. What decision, you ask? Well, I have been debating whether or not to stick with my MAC foundation/concealer or move on to something else. I have made the decision to move on to something else. Bare Escentuals is now my makeup of choice just ordered from Sephora online. I tried it over the weekend, and it is very light, yet you get good coverage and it takes very little. It also doesn't seem to settle into my fine lines as much as the MAC does. (I am getting more fine lines every day, and I won't speak of the hallow darkness under the eyes.)
