So far things are going smoothly on the room makeover. We did discover what was behind door #1 on our ceiling. A big box not connected to the attic with a large slab of insulation. Our contractor had never seen anything like it, and he has been building and remodeling houses for a long time. Interesting.
Apparently the carpet has been changed a few times.
